Calling all Businesses and Employers
We are a 11-18 secondary school situated in Carterton, West Oxfordshire. We have small cohorts which enables us to know each and everyone of our students. Know what their needs are, their strengths and weaknesses. We are a very kind and caring school and each and everyone of our students matter. We now have a Careers Development Plan and Careers Programme in place for our students to benefit from having interaction with employers, visiting premises and having work experience placements so they can learn about the skills needed for their future successful employment.

We hosted our first Business Breakfast in February 2020 where we had the pleasure of welcoming Robert Courts, our MP along with the Mayor of Carterton and local Businesses and Employers. We have an annual Careers Fair where local employers and businesses come into school for the day and interact with all our Year Groups. Please see the list of attendees at the bottom of this page. We have a Careers Human Library, work experience for one week and we also have employers come into school and talk about their business so students can learn how to be successful and the different pathways to be able to achieve. If you are a Business owner or an Employer and would like to get involved with Carterton Community College then please contact me so we can arrange a visit to our school where I would have the pleasure of showing you around.
