Members of staff, Governors and two students attended the Conference on the 8th July ‘Understanding the needs of UK Armed Forces Service Children’.  The event aims to support all those providing and leading on education of children of serving personnel, to develop a deeper understanding of the life of a child with parents in the UK Armed Forces.

Two of our students delivered a speech and presentation to Headteachers, Governors and County Council staff about the importance of listening to the students.   The speech was extremely powerful and sincere.   The founder of NSI, Never Such Innocence, a charity who aim to give children and young people across the world a voice on conflict was so impressed with the students’ speech she has asked the two boys to be Ambassadors for her charity and company.    Huge congratulations to the boys.  Well done!
